With offices in Aberdeen and Singapore, PMAC covers a worldwide market and have gained a reputation for innovative solutions in the fields of Integrity, Oilfield Chemistry and Flow Assurance with a reputation for delivering cost effective quality services.

PMAC serves the global Offshore and Oil & Gas industries from exploration through to production and transportation of hydrocarbons utilising a unique blend of proprietary expertise and an established range of technologies; drawing on a combined knowledge of practical experience in chemistry, corrosion, inspection and electronic engineering, to provide clients with a unique design and manufacturing capability, complimented with a range of service capabilities. PMAC is a leading provider of a range of underwater inspection services with tens of thousands of KM of Pipeline Inspection, hundreds of Structures and thousands of operational days utilising PMAC’s unique systems and offshore engineers for most offshore operators in over 40 Countries and Territories.

Topside, PMAC have designed and developed products for monitoring scale and wax in process pipework and a number of corrosion monitoring systems including the Industry leading PMAC Dynamic Scale Loop and Micro-PVT. PMAC Asia Pacific was formed in 2010 as a subsidiary of our UK operations to better provide our clients cost effective packages through a greater service offering and Multi-Task Engineers.

In order to achieve these objectives, PMAC has established and maintains an effective and efficient management system based upon the requirements of ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 and ISO45001:2018 and all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental regulations.

 

PMAC personnel as a minimum are externally certified to Intermediate (level 2) and Advanced (level 3) CSWIP Cathodic Protection as well as being Radiation Protection Supervisors and may hold additional certification such as CSWIP 3.4u, CSWIP 3.3u, NACE Basic Corrosion etc.

 

PMAC are also corporate members of National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) and the Institute of Corrosion (ICOR).

Whilst not currently actively seeking new permanent personnel, PMAC always welcome from CVs from people interested in the below positions.

Field Technician (CP &FMD)

Offshore and Onshore based

 

Requires basic skills acquired through some previous work experience, training and/or completion of related external training.

Responsibilities may require the application of basic organizational and technical knowledge, operation and accountability for more complex equipment or performing routine tasks. Some independent decision making shall be required, with oversight from senior personnel directly or from office support staff.

Works onshore and offshore. Typically only trained and able to operate a single inspection technique. Can analyse and process data along with preparation of reports for internal review.

Senior Field Technician

Offshore and Onshore based

​Highly Developed specific skills, significant work experience and/or completion of related upper-level external training such as (NACE, CSWIP). Expected to be capable of confidently performing at least two core inspection tasks/roles.

Responsibilities will include data processing, analysis and report writing, cross checking of reports and data from others, independent supervision or coordination of individual work scopes involving complex equipment or analysis of data. Installation of equipment at client facilities along with basic training to clients in equipment operation.

Other responsibilities can include regular supervision of other Field Personnel and limited on site supervision of client personnel in operation of PMAC equipment.
